WHAT IS SUJOK
Invented by Prof. Park Jae Woo an eminent Korean philosopher and scientist Su Jok Therapy is a new approach to treatment. Su Joks Therapy, a part of ONNURI MEDICINE is a system of treatment comprising of a variety of techniques to prevent and cure illness and restore health without any drugs. The theoretical basis of this system of Healing is the discovery of self regulation Homo Energy System of Human Body whereby each Hand and foot and other locations of Human body carries information of each parts (organ) of human body. The Hands and Feet structurally being the most similar body parts to the Human Body, these corresponding micro points/areas can therefore be used most conveniently and effectively as remote controls to treat any diseased organ/part in the human body.
Sujok is actually a combination of two Korean words; namely “Su” meaning hands and “Jok” meaning feet. So, Sujok means treating on hands and feet. Sujok acupuncture is a natural therapy of healing without drugs or medications. WHAT HAPPENS DURING SUJOK?
The Principle behind Sujok is that there is a continuous flow of energy in our body. This energy in our body flows in a very systematic and uninformed manner. Sujok aims at balancing the imbalanced energy in the body, the tissues, the cells and the organs.
Sujok works on two dimensions. It works on physical dimension and also metaphysical dimension.
Physical Dimension: Here, either fingers or any pointed objects are used for identifying the corresponding point of the body and then the point is massaged till relief is achieved. Here, you can use fingers, pointed or rounded objects, magnetic stars, seed, metallic rings etc. This physical dimension of Sujok is more of acupressure than acupuncture. It can be practiced by virtually anyone as it requires no major skill or any instrument.
Meta-Physical Dimension: This system requires the use of BYOL meridians and applies the experience and theories of classical acupuncture correlating them with the new theories of Sujok, like Six Ki constitution, emotional constitution and their treatment formula for treating the BYOL Meridians and BYOL points. Such a system requires professional or expertise hands.

The length of your SUJOK appointment will vary based on the needs of the patron most are one hour appointments per session running into multiple sessions or as prescribed by your SUJOK Therapist .Permanent recovery is almost permanent if the practitioner completes full course of treatment and patient brings about changes in life style (Naturopathy, Yoga, meditation,etc. ) and food regulation.
